She successfully completed her GP training, to a high standard, in 2010 and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
She works 3 days a week as a GP partner in a very busy NHS practice. Her ethos is to practice holistically, listening and giving honest advice on diagnosis, investigations and onward referral to specialists. Dr Virdee has a special interest in preventative medicine and enjoys empowering patients with knowledge of their health. She has had significant experience in the management of long term conditions and has a particular interest in women's health. Having completed specialist training in contraception and sexual health, she can provide in depth contraception counselling and is experienced in fitting contraceptive implants and coils.
Complementing her private medical services, she is also trained in safe, non-surgical facial aesthetics (Anti wrinkle/rejuvination & Lip enhancement)
In addition, Dr Virdee, is a senior GP assessor, examining doctors who wish to gain entrance onto GP specialist training. She has also recently become a GP Appraiser, reviewing the practice and performance of other doctors ensuring that they demonstrate the principles of good medical practice set out by the GMC.
Dr Virdee has a genuine passion for being a family GP, driven to providing the highest quality care, across a range of specialities. Her ethos is to deliver good quality care in a welcoming manner to her patients and/or their families, whether this is as a one off consultation or a long standing relationship. Ultimately, keeping up to date, practicing openly and safely, remains at the forefront of her practice.
Outside of this, she loves to spend time with her husband and two children, aged 8 and 5, good food and enjoying the company of her family and friends.
